What Shapes Creativity?

I have often wondered what shapes creativity. Is it genetics or environment? Researchers have conducted many studies on the effects of genes and environment on creativity. They have studied twins reared together and apart. They have collected data on the part DNA plays in the ability of different regions of the brain to communicate during creative processes. While some studies demonstrate a greater correlation between environment and creativity, others emphasize the importance of genes.
